Description

The speed monitors of the DZ series are designed for the installation in control cabinets. They are used to monitor overspeed, underspeed, direction of rotation or standstill of machines. Special models of the speed monitors, which have an analog output, can also be used for control tasks.

The special features of our speed monitors are the very high frequency range, the fast response and the easy adjustability of the speed, direction and standstill parameters depending on the used input signals.

Designed for incremental HTL and RS422 / TTL encoders and sensors, the monitoring unit DZ267 is identical to the DZ260 version in all basic functions as well as its design, but without analogue output. Therefore it is a cost-effective alternative, used as a fast response and precise monitoring module. A large number of programmable functions for monitoring overspeed, underspeed (start-up bridging), standstill as well as clockwise and counter-clockwise enable flexible use on a wide range of industrial machines and systems. The operation and parameterization can be set either via keyboard or the RS232 interface which is connected to a PC or notebook. For this moTrona provides a free operating software.
