Motrona DS250 Safety Speed Monitor Incremental Encoder 2 Inputs

Often there is a high risk to people and machinery in industrial applications. In these cases, it is necessary and required by law to fulfill certain safety criteria to reduce these risks. This is precisely where the application field of our speed monitors of the DS series is. They are used to monitor underfrequencies, overfrequencies, direction of rotation and machine standstill. With their SIL3/PLe and SIL2/PLd certifications according to the DIN 61508 and ISO 13849 standards, the safety relays ensure maximum safety and reliability.

The speed monitor DS250 achieves SIL3/PLe with two non-certified sensors. It has two incremental inputs (HTL differential, HTL single ended, RS422), a signal distributor and a line break monitoring.
