Description

PTC Fan Heaters of the Cirrus series are powerful heaters for targeted air heating in all kinds of electrical housings. They consist of a PTC heating element and an axial fan, installed in a compact housing made of aluminum. Their DIN clip and connection cable allows for easy and space-saving integration into the customer application. PTC fan heaters are particularly often used in control cabinets, where they protect electronic components from moisture and frost. Cirrus 40 is available in two sizes (C40/1 and C40/2) with several power outputs from 60 to 230W. A special feature of the Cirrus 40 is the separate power supply for the fan (12/24V AC or DC) and heating element (12/24V or 115/230V). PTC Fan Heaters come with all advantages of the PTC heating technology. Thanks to the PTC effect, the heating elements dynamically adjust their power without exceeding a maximum temperature. High operational reliability and energy efficiency without any additional switching elements.
