This universal impulse and frequency multiplier provides one encoder input and one encoder output, all using the TTL/RS422 standard with channels A,Ai, B,Bi, Z,Zi as well as a number of digital control inputs and outputs (PLC compatible). Additionally, the unit possesses a serial RS232/ RS485 interface and a CANopen network interface for register access and control. The unit multiplies the input frequency by a proportional factor F1 and a reciprocal factor F2, both adjustable in a range of 0.0001 to 9.9999. The result appears at the frequency output: 
- Index and marker pulse generator: The unit can generate index and marker pulses with a programmable number of encoder pulses between markers.
- All operation modes provide a fully error-free frequency conversion, with full consideration of the direction given by A/B quadrature signals, with no cummulative errors.
- Power supply 18 – 30 VDC
- Closed aluminium housing for rack or cabinet mounting (DIN rail)
